Yenlex Assists Wangbaobao, the #1 Oatmeal E-Commerce Brand; Completed Series C Round of Financing of Hundreds of Millions of RMB
Beijing - The health food brand “Wangbaobao” has completed a Series C round of financing of hundreds of millions of RMB, led by Matrix Partners China, with participation from Hillhouse Capital, and existing shareholders BA Capital and Vertex Ventures.
This initial round of financing will be used for brand building and continuous upgrading of the supply chain.
Yenlex, on behalf of Wangbaobao, fully participates in designing transaction structure, and drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents as well as transaction closing.
Wangbaobao is a producer and seller of food products with a focus on ready-to-serve cereals. The company launches a new product every two months on big e-commerce platforms including Taobao, JD.com and Xiaohongshu, with an aim to innovate products in the field of snacks, enabling customers to purchase healthy, convenient and delicious snacks.
Established in 2019, Wangbaobao has continued to be ranked #1 in online sales and has promoted its products in more than 10,000 offline terminal stores.
Wangbaobao has taken the lead in product innovation, which is the first to launch a new type of baked cereals that are "delicious, trendy and guilt-free".
